About Us
zQence Entertainment is a subsidiary of Co-lectiv Holding, based in The Hague, the Netherlands. Founded in 2009 from a shared passion for music and entertainment, the company originally started as a full-service entertainment platform focused on music production, artist development, and creative collaboration.
What began as a dream between two friends to build their own music studio quickly evolved into a growing creative hub. Shortly after opening its first studio in The Hague, artists from various backgrounds found their way to zQence Studios, leading to numerous collaborations and productions.
As the company expanded, it became clear that artists needed more than just music production. zQence Entertainment gradually developed into a broader creative agency offering artist management, visual design, photography, record label services, artist bookings, and event management. In 2012, due to its rapid growth, the company relocated to a larger location in the center of Rotterdam.
Over the years, not only artists but also companies and creative professionals worked together with zQence Studios. The studio produced recordings and audio projects for brands and companies including Coolblue, Pineut, Allure Tuinen, and others. Through its visual division, zQence also designed websites and creative media for businesses and artists alike.
In 2017, after years of continuous growth and creative projects, the company decided to pause its music and entertainment activities. The studio was sold, projects were completed, and the focus gradually shifted away from the music industry. For more than six years, virtually no new music was produced.
However, in 2025, founder and producer Ronald Leeuwangh experienced a moment of reflection during a conversation on the Greek island of Crete. Speaking with someone about dreams and ambitions made him realize that many of the goals others still aspired to had already once been achieved through zQence Entertainment. This realization reignited the passion for music and inspired a return to the company’s original foundation: creating music with passion and authenticity.
The remaining studio equipment was brought back to life, and zQence Studios slowly resumed producing and recording music. Behind the scenes, work quietly began on a new creative direction and comeback plan. Where the company once became increasingly focused on the business side of entertainment, the renewed vision centers around creativity, artistic freedom, collaboration, and enjoying the journey of making music with passionate people.
With the revival of the studio also came the return of several former DJ aliases and music projects. In 2026, zQence Records officially returned with new EDM releases by Greg Stanley, followed by music from various upcoming and established artists.
Today, zQence Entertainment continues its journey as an independent creative platform driven by passion, experience, and a deep love for music, art, and storytelling
