The Artist
Greg Stanley is the artistic alter ego of Dutch producer Ronald Leeuwangh, whose journey through music began at the age of 12. Inspired by old school hip-hop records and the early DJ culture, he quickly developed a deep passion for mixing, rhythm, and underground dance music.
By the age of 17, Greg Stanley was already performing as both DJ and producer at house events ranging from intimate underground parties to EDM festivals with crowds of up to 10,000 people. In the early 2000s, Greg Stanley pushed boundaries with a unique live techno and progressive house act that combined live drums, real-time mixing, and live production. This innovative performance concept led him to the semi-finals of the prestigious GPNL (Grote Prijs van Nederland).
Throughout his career, Ronald Leeuwangh produced music in various studios across Europe, working across genres including pop, jazz, rock, hip-hop, progressive techno, and trance. He loves to combine organic instruments and vocals with digital synths and beats. Greg Stanleys sound is best described as a powerful blend of Trance, Melodic Techno, and Progressive House — emotional, energetic, cinematic, and deeply atmospheric.
After stepping away from music for six years to rediscover his creative passion, Greg Stanley has now returned with renewed inspiration, a fresh artistic vision, and a new wave of music. This new chapter marks not only a comeback, but the evolution of an artist who has lived and breathed music for decades.
